Lewiston Elementary Families,

The first day of school is racing toward us! Hopefully, your kiddos had a great summer break and are excited about returning to school. We're excited to see their faces and start a great new school year. Our custodial staff has the building in ship shape and our teachers have been working double time to get their rooms ready.

Back-to-school suggested supply lists are not generally published. If you would like to help with classroom supplies, please check with your children's teacher to see what would be the most helpful.

School hours are 9:05 am to 3:35 pm Monday through Thursday. Early release on Fridays at 2:20. The warning bell rings at 9:00 and the tardy bell at 9:05. Please, don't send your students before 8:45 am unless they are participating in one of our before-school programs. We don't have supervision available before then and the front doors will be locked.

We would also like to encourage you to apply for free and reduced lunch. Whether you think you qualify or not, please apply, you might be pleasantly surprised. As a Title 1 school, a huge chunk of our funding depends on the number of students who qualify for this program. It is strictly confidential and includes breakfast if you choose to take advantage of it. All Free and Reduced lunch applications MUST be done online which can be accessed from the district website. Please log into your PowerSchool accounts and make sure your information is updated and as accurate as possible. We can't communicate with you if we don't have the tools to do so. You can also access our school website for more information. 

ANY NEW STUDENTS can be registered online at the Cache County School District website, please click here: New or Returning Student Registration  **This will begin the process, other documentation is required before school begins to complete your student's registration for Lewiston Elementary. Required documentation includes: *Proof of Residency (3 types are required, please read the information on the website carefully)  *ORIGINAL birth certificate.   *Proof of Immunizations.

Our first priority is the safety of our students. All doors will remain locked during the school day.  Please enter the school through the front doors only where you may be asked to identify yourself and/or show current identification. We have the best school community in the valley. Thank you so much for your continued support of us and your children. Here's to another great year!!

Back to School Night will be an in-person Meet Your Teacher Open House.  On Tuesday, August 19th any time from 4:00 - 6:00 pm bring your student(s) to school to find their classroom and meet their teacher.  Then you can head home and finish getting ready for the first day of school.  We will be here, ready and waiting for you.  

The Bus routes will not be finalized until the week before school starts.  You can double-check your route/stop here:  Transportation / Transportation (New)  Please remind your students that Lewiston Leopards are safe, kind, and responsible on the bus! This is an important service for our students and drivers have a big responsibility.  

 All Personal vehicles bringing students should wait in line along 200 east to pull up curbside in front of the school before dropping off or picking up students.  This line moves quickly. Please be patient.  Do NOT have students cross the street or in front of cars to access the school.

We appreciate your trust in our faculty and staff. We do not take this lightly. Lewiston is an amazing school community. To keep all of our students, faculty, and staff healthy and safe, we ask for your help.  Feel free to send your child in a mask, if preferred.  Please keep your child at home if they are showing any signs of illness.
